It's Spiderman!
Spiderman! |
He appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics, feature films, television series, and the like. Spiderman first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 (cover-dated Aug. 1962).
Spider-Man first appeared in a television series in 1967. Since then, there hasn't been a decade without a series devoted to Spider-Man. Marvel continues to publish comic books featuring this classic character.
Among many other things, Spider-Man was the first teenage superhero. In real life, Spider-Man is Peter Parker, an ordinary kid who has difficulty fitting in. Peter acquires these superhero powers and, on his own, must figure out what to do with them and what they mean to his life.
Spider-Man is a Marvel Comics flagship superhero character. He was virtually unknown to the general public when the first "Spider-Man" series went on the air in the 1960s, but he has risen steadily since then in the public's perception. Recently, he placed 3rd on IGN's Top 100 Comic Book Heroes of All Time in 2011, behind only DC Comics characters Superman and Batman.
