She was adopted by her evil stepmother, who had two girls of her own.

The evil stepmother always preferred her own girls to Cinderella, even though Cinderella was the fairest of them all.


One day, Cinderella requests permission to go to the King's ball. Unfortunately, her evil stepmother forces Cinderella to work while allowing her own daughters to go.


At this point, Cinderella's godmother appears and fixes everything so that Cinderella can attend the King's Ball.


The fairy godmother creates a beautiful dress for Cinderella that is made by mice, and then the fairy godmother changes a pumpkin into a royal coach.


Cinderella attends the ball and meets the handsome prince, who immediately is taken with her and then wants to get to know her better. However, it is getting late, and Cinderella remembers that she only has until midnight to enjoy herself, at which time her clothes and carriage will return to their former states. Cinderella runs out of the ball but loses a glass slipper that she had been wearing.


The Prince finds it and uses it to search throughout the kingdom for the girl he had met at the ball. Finally, he finds Cinderella, and she and the prince are reunited and live happily ever after.
