All of the boy dolls have molded plastic hair while the girl dolls have styled hair that is mostly free. Sections of the girl dolls have hair sections that are hairs-prayed into position, but you can remove the hairspray if you want.
You can also purchase the mini-dolls individually for about $20 each. Purchasing the $100 set is a pretty good value when you compare it to the cost of each doll separately.

So, an important decision to make is if you want to have the accessories (which are quite cute!) and spend the extra money for them.
Also, the Flynn doll is only available as part of a collection (at least at the moment). So, if you want to have all the dolls, the only way to do that is by purchasing a collection that includes him.

Other mini-doll boys that are in previous sets (Aladdin and Kristoff) also are unavailable separately. You must purchase the proper set to get them.
You can purchase the dolls at Disney World and Disneyland if you are going to visit there.

If you like to mix and match doll collections, the 5" Disney Animators Gift Set dolls fit well into a Barbie dollhouse.
While the doll sets may seem expensive, they are of excellent quality and quite durable.

The dolls are good both for play and for display. These are keepsakes.
